Debtor Education Internet Course
Welcome to the TakingControl Debtor Education Internet Course.
As part of your bankruptcy requirements, you are required to complete a 2-hour approved debtor education course. This course must be completed before Springboard can issue you a Debtor Education Completion Certificate. This completion certificate is required in order to receive a discharge from the court.
In order to access the online course, you must have been registered by Springboard.
If you haven't registered for the course, please call us at 1-888-425-3453. The cost of the course is $55.00.
Please take a moment and input your bankruptcy case number, your date of birth, the last four digits of your social security number (SSN) and your zip code. Once submitted you will be taken to the TakingControl Online Debtor Education Program.
Please note that you must be using the following browsers in order to complete the Online Prepetition Counseling session successfully. You may click on browser to download the latest version of the browser.
Once you have done download your browser, install it and reopen http://counseling.bkhelp.org in that browser to begin your session.
